Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be submitted in writing (by email) to your travel consultant. The date the written notice is received determines which policy applies. Please note that we are closed on weekends & South Africa public holidays (except for guests currently travelling). Should your notice be delivered on a pivotal day for the below, on a day we are closed, we will do our best according to the options available to us.
Bookings made 60+ days before travel:
Notice given:
61+ days before arrival: 100%
46–60 days before arrival: 50%
45 days or fewer before arrival: 0%
Bookings made fewer than 60 days before travel: A 100% cancellation fee applies regardless of when notice is given.
Why these terms exist Our itineraries are fully tailor-made, involving significant time, supplier commitments, and pre-payments made on your behalf — often well in advance of your arrival date. Our cancellation windows reflect the points at which these costs become unrecoverable for us.
Supplier cancellation fees Many of our suppliers — accommodation, transport, and experience providers — impose their own cancellation fees, which may be more restrictive than our own. Where applicable, these will be clearly noted in your itinerary. In some cases, supplier fees may exceed our standard policy.
What to do if you need to cancel Please contact your consultant as soon as possible. We will always explore alternatives, including moving your booking to new dates — our supplier relationships often allow us to do this with little or no penalty. While we cannot guarantee exceptions, we will do everything we can to find a workable solution.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation cover, particularly for bookings where external factors (health, global crises, third party events, etc ) form part of your travel plans.
